Reading this site does not require you to sign up or type anything. This page describes what the site does record, including the Google Analytics switched on on 2 November 2026, and what you can choose.

Updated

What this site does and does not do

  • It sets analytics cookies only if you choose "Allow analytics cookies" in the bar at the bottom of the page. Before you choose, or after "Decline", no analytics cookie is stored.
  • It runs Google Analytics 4, described below. It runs no heat maps or session recording.
  • It has no forms, no newsletter sign-up and no comment box.
  • It has no accounts or logins.
  • Fonts and images are served from this site's own address. The Google Analytics script, loaded from googletagmanager.com, is the only thing that comes from another server.

Apart from Google Analytics and the analytics bar, the only script on the page opens and closes the menu on small screens and marks the page you are on. It stores nothing on your device.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 runs on every page, loaded from googletagmanager.com in Google consent mode. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are always set to "denied". What happens next depends on your choice in the bar:

  • No choice yet, or Decline: no analytics cookie is stored. The tag still sends Google cookieless page-view signals: the page address, the time, and browser and device details.
  • Allow analytics cookies: first-party cookies whose names begin with _ga are set, so that repeat visits can be recognised.

Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage under the key ga-consent. You can change your analytics choice at any time; the bar opens again.

Google processes what it receives under its own privacy policy, at policies.google.com/privacy, and may process it outside Kenya.

What the server may log

The site is a set of static files. Like any web server, the one that delivers them can write a standard access log line for each request: the IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the browser's user-agent string and, if your browser sends it, the page you came from. Those lines are used only to keep the site running and to spot faults or abuse. They are not matched to names, sold or used for advertising. A retention period has not been published yet, because the publisher and hosting details are not yet named.

Third parties

Google, through the analytics tag described above, and no one else. There are no advertising networks, social media buttons, embedded videos, maps or affiliate trackers. Links to official sources, such as the regulator's own pages, take you to those sites, and their privacy terms apply once you are there.

Your rights under the Data Protection Act 2019

The Act defines personal data as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (s.2). Under s.26 you have the right to be told how your personal data will be used, to access it, to object to its processing, and to have false or misleading data corrected or deleted. If you are unhappy with how a data controller treats your data, you may complain to the Data Commissioner orally or in writing, and the complaint must be investigated and concluded within 90 days (s.56).

Beyond the server lines above and the analytics data that Google receives, this site records nothing about you. A new betting site is different: it must check your identity, location and age before your first deposit (L.N. 112 r.82), so it holds a great deal. The Office of the Data Protection Commissioner publishes a register of data handlers that shows whether a company is registered, with its registration number and status.

Analytics switched on

Google Analytics was switched on on 2 November 2026, and this page was updated the same day to describe it. Any other feature that collects data will be described here before it goes live.
